As I had posted earlier, we spent our first two days in Ethiopia in Lalibela. Lalibela is about an hour flight north of Addis and has been a tourist attraction since the 16th century. It is considered the "eighth wonder of the world" and also one of the top Christian historical sites in the world. We were impressed with Ethiopia's rich history and Christian heritage, as well as the diversity and beauty of the landscape.
