First day of school
Belachew started pre-kindergarten today. We are thankful to have found an amazing Christ-centered school with a focus on racial and economic reconciliation. Belachew was excited and a little anxious, but he did great his first day! We are so proud of him.
What an amazing school find! Jealous here in California where we generally try to pretend like our race issues don't need reconciling. Alas...can't wait to hear more about fabulous school!
I am a full time mom and a part-time social worker. Paul and I were married in January 2005. We talked early in our relationship about adoption and both felt led by God to start our family this way. Kenyon Belachew was born in Ethiopia and joined our family in June 2008. Hudson Musse was also born in Ethiopia and joined our family in December 2009. We are passionate about Africa, advocating for orphans, and excited to see the plans God has for our family.
