Last night my husband and I spent sometime on your blog.... we were reminded of the first time we stumbled on your blog and how encouraged we were about your son's story.
God really used your blog again yesterday.... We have been discouraged and a bit overwhelmed with a sibling set or a toddler.... It seems strange that it is such a bit choice but it was for us.
I think it was interesting that we made our decision to change our application for a toddler a few days ago and we landed back on your blog... reading it again from beginning all over again.... and we felt God's comfort, peace, and excitement... as we laughed and "got a bit teary eyed" though your entrees about your little boy.
I am a full time mom and a part-time social worker. Paul and I were married in January 2005. We talked early in our relationship about adoption and both felt led by God to start our family this way. Kenyon Belachew was born in Ethiopia and joined our family in June 2008. Hudson Musse was also born in Ethiopia and joined our family in December 2009. We are passionate about Africa, advocating for orphans, and excited to see the plans God has for our family.
